Visitors: Independent Researchers

The YCCECE Library welcomes visitors from Hong Kong and around the world who demonstrate a need to use our library at the Tin Wan campus to access our specialist materials not easily available elsewhere. This service is free of charge.

Please complete our Library Visit form to apply for an e-pass for accessing the YCCECE library as an Independent Researcher.

Before submitting your application, please check if the material you would like to access is available from our collections here.

• Access to all our print resources will be REFERENCE ONLY and available during the Library's opening hours.
• Access to our electronic resources will NOT be available due to licensing restrictions.
• The e-pass will only allow access to the library, not any other rooms on campus.
• Visits are restricted to library staffed hours only.
• We do not allow visiting requests only for use of study space.

If your application is successful, please ensure you have a valid form of photo ID with you during your visit. Security can deny access to Library Visit Pass holders if sufficient identification is not available.
