Booking of the Group Discussion Room

  • The Group Discussion Room is available for booking online at Room Booking & SPSS/NVivo Booking (Select "6 people" for Maximum Room Capacity to proceed).
  • Students can book 1 session ONLY per day. Reservations have a 2-hour time limit.
  • The room can be reserved 7 calendar days in advance.

Booking Privileges

  • Rooms are open to all when not reserved; however, students with a valid reservation are given priority. Students without reservations must leave rooms when those with reservations are ready to use them.

Equipment

  • No computer is provided in the rooms. Users can borrow a notebook or iPad at the library counter if needed.

Conduct of Users

  • Users should return the room to its original state and leave promptly at the end of their booking period.
  • The room is strictly for academic use only.
  • Windows should not be covered.
  • Do not eat or drink inside the room, except for the lunch hour from 11am to 2pm.
  • Do not leave valuable items unattended. All personal belongings are left at the owner’s risk. The College will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • Any damages of furniture and equipment in the room should be reported to the Library staff immediately. In case of misuse of the furniture and equipment, the students will be held responsible for the total cost incurred for repair or replacement.

 Important Notes to Users

  • The Library reserves the right to refuse lending the room to any student who fails to observe the rules and regulations.
  • The Room is under CCTV surveillance.
